NHS Members Give Back

NHS Members Feed the Homeless

Students preparing lunchesOn March 9, NHS members met at 8 am at Saint Mary's Church to pack 50 brown bag lunches to deliver to Father Bill's shelter in Brockton.  NHS members have signed on to prepare these lunches for 5 weeks.  Each bag contains a sandwich, a water, a piece of fruit and a snack.  The funds used for this were raised by the NHS Blacklight dance, held each year after mid-term exams.  Co-Advisor Rachel Barrett met with students to set up and prepare the meals, while co-Advisor Jim Callahan drove the officers to the shelter to deliver them.

If you would like to help donate funds for this endeavor, please feel free to email Rachel Barrett at [email protected].
