- GRLZ Radio: February 19-23
To share with your students: GRLZradio is excited to host another session of G.R.I.T. (GRLZradio Intensive Training), their February vacation program for girls ages 10-13. During this week-long intensive, girls will gain leadership, public speaking, teamwork, and creative writing skills, as they are trained by radio and music professionals to host and produce their own radio shows! At the end of this fun-filled week, girls will have completed 4-7 quality radio shows that can be enjoyed live on our website or later via Soundcloud account. The cost to attend this program is $40/ child. Scholarships are available on a first come, first serve basis. Cost includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day; radio production, engineering, and hosting experience; GRLZradio t-shirt; Certificate of Completion at a small awards ceremony. To apply, visit grlzradio.org, making sure to pick GRIT in "Type of Applicant." For more information, contact Takeisha Meade at 617-436-8600 ext. 322 or at [email protected].
