All members of the FHS Concert Band flute section are encouraged to participate in the FHS Flute Choir, which rehearses on Thursday evenings. Adjunct faculty flute teacher, Mrs. Lori Ziegler Halt, directs the Flute Choir. The group performs a variety of diverse literature representing some of the world's greatest composers. The Flute Choir performs for community events, recitals, and the annual FHS Chamber Concert in May.
Mrs. Halt received her master's degree in applied flute from Boston University and is a very active professional flute player in the Boston and Providence area
