The Foxboro High School String Orchestra is open to all violin, viola, cello and bass students whose playing is at or above the intermediate level. All violinists/violists should be comfortable shifting between first and third positions and should have some familiarity with 2nd 4th and 5th positions as well. Cellists and bassists should be comfortable using positions up to the octave higher than each open string. The String Orchestra performs at concerts during the school year at Foxboro High School and at the Ahern Middle School. The Orchestra is conducted by an outstanding musician and conductor, Cami Tedoldi.
